OUR PRODUCTS
Under its Applon™ product line, Applied Plastics produces a number of premium Flouropolymer impregnated belting and fabric products using its proprietary Fluoropolymer technology and manufacturing processes.
FLUOROPOLYMER BELTING
Conveyor belting products are a combination of various fabrics, primarily fiberglass and Kevlar, that are impregnated or coated with our proprietary Applon™ fluoropolymer process.
Our belting is available in 4 types:
- Applon™ C is a glass or Kevlar fabric impregnated with fluoropolymer and carbon fill. The combination of the conductive carbon and fluoropolymer coatings create an anti-stick surface that can be grounded for the elimination of static electricity.
- Applon™ G is an open weave fiberglass fabric which is coated 6 or more times with fluoropolymer to create a superior anti-stick surface
- Applon™ F is a combination of woven Kevlar, glass and Nomex fabrics impregnated with a double coating of fluoropolymer and sintered at at a high temperature to create a surface that can withstand high heat.
- Applon™ H is a heavy woven fiberglass fabric and coated up to 2 times with fluoropolymer to create an anti-stick surface for heavier objects.
FLUOROPOLYMER & DURAGUARD TAPE, PADS & TUBING
Our Tape, Pad & Tubing Products are a combination of layers of fabric that are pressed and fused together and shaped into tapes, pads and tubing of various thicknesses and then coated with fluoropolymer or Duraguard (Silica Resin) in various layers.
Our Tape, Pad and Tubing products are available in several types:
- Applon™ H is a combination of Fiberglass fabric impregnated with Fluoropolymer and formed via pressure and heat. The combination creates a heavy duty fabric that has high temperature capabilities as well as a dry lubricated wear surface and is an asbestos substitute. This material can be drilled, sewn, and mechanically fastened or is available sanded on one side or coated on one side for bonding with commercially available adhesives.
- Applon™ DG is a combination of fiberglass fabric impregnated with Duraguard and formed via pressure and heat. The combination creates a heavy duty fabric that can withstand higher temperature applications.

Applon™ DK is a combination of Kevlar, Nomex & Fiberglass fabric impregnated with Duraguard and formed via pressure and heat. The combination creates a heavy duty fabric that can withstand higher temperature applications.
Our tape, pad and tubing products can be manufactured in various thicknesses and shapes and can be coated on 1 or both sides or are also available uncoated.
Applon™ Fluoropolmer and Duraguard impregnated fabrics and belting are designed for continuous service temperatures up to 500°F. these temperatures can be exceeded in intermittent applications, depending upon the application. They are available in a wide variety of lengths, widths and thicknesses.
FLUOROPOLYMER COATINGS
Our fluoropolymer Coatings are designed as a spray release agent for metal molds. Our coatings are anti-stick and will not interfere with the end product ingredients or leave a residue behind. We can coat items up to 12’X 8’x 8″ in size and can coat any type of metal including aluminum.
